  1. Do you happen to go to Lake Travis High School?

  2. Look man if you do it you will regret it for the rest of your life. Friday nights are some of the best times of you life for a football player. When you go threw practice you will hate it but when you step onto the field for the first time in just a few short weeks. you will remember why you  love the game. but good luck with what ever choice you make.

  3. Do the right thing for your team, your school, your family, and yourself.... Just quit.  As you said it yourself you suck.

  4. If you sill love to play, why quit? So what if the coaching staff doesn't want to take you seriously, once pads go on, and you start playing, if you are the best one at your position, I am confident you will play

  5. dont quit if you still love the game, practices get annoying but its worth it if you love the game.

  6. it sets a bad precedent in your early life to quit when times are tough.  practice isn't fun, but winning is...practice makes perfect.

  7. i would say do not quit.

you started it - now be a finisher.

good luck and play your way into the lineup

  8. If you really don't enjoy it then there's nothing wrong in quitting. Why dedicate most of your time to something you're not going to enjoy doing? If you honestly don't enjoy football anymore then don't play, but think long and hard about it before you make your decision. Practices always suck and coaches can be jerks, but if you love the game enough then you should continue. If you quit and you really do love the game then you are always going to regret quitting.

    Good luck with your decision.

  9. i feel the same way and i wanted to get a job. im a sophmore too, and practices just take up so much time and i hate them too. don't quit though

  10. dude don't quit. there is nothing like being on a team. the team is real, accomplishing something with the team is real. the feeling of accomplishing that something with the team is real and no one can feel that unless they are apart of the team. not the cheerleaders not the fans. only you and your team. only you get to feel the greatness with your team as you battle through adversity. man i love football. i recently committed with Tulane as a right guard on the offensive line. don't give up so easily. life is too precious to watch from the stands.

  11. i almost quit my junior year and i was the starting varsity qb... our coaching staff was horrible, i lost all fun playing, and had had 4 concussions and 2 surgeries by that point ... but i stuck it out and came back to start my senior year.

i would say stick it out, practicing isn't that bad of a deal... it just makes you better, and you truly do learn many life lessons in football...so stay in it, and make the best out of every moment.
