i have been sick and not feeling well. i went out to the mall with my husband on friday he was going to work i was going to shop and chill out,

his boss is a good friend of ours and he said i was distant and cold and im not normally. i had alot on my mind a relative i have had no contact with in 29 years made contact and i had to write back plus not feeling well. i think i hurt my friends feelings by being distracted. he clearly wanted me to be playful with him as i normally am

should i explain and apologize or let it go

  1. Yes, I would apologize, but not make a big deal about it.  Everyone has those "off" days.

  2. Just explain and apologize. You're only human. We all have days when we don't act ourselves when things are on our minds. No big deal. If people can't understand that then to heck with 'em.

  3. Just explain what was going on, everyone is entitled to a mood once in a while.

  4. I think you should apologize and explain yourself to sooth hurt feelings and clear the air, even though you technically did nothing wrong.  Sometimes, it is appropriate (but not necessary) to apologize.  If you apologize, you would be apologizing for unintentionally hurting your friend's feelings, and not for being distant and cold.
