Should i ask this girl or what?

Well theres this girl ive liked for about 8 months now, and our schools homecoming is in about a month and a week, so its about that time of year again to start asking people to it. I was sitting around one night and my friend said he asked this other girl to ask the girl i like if she likes me, and he said that she only said idk but if he asked me to homecoming i would go. This friend of mine has been known to joke around cause he thinks that kind of dark humor is funny, should i just ask this girl or not, idk if i can trust my friends word

who cares what the friend said, whether true or not. If you like her, or at least interested, GO FOR IT!!!

The worst she can say is no, and you've gained asking out experience. At best you go with her!

Don't trust your friends on issues like these, I can't even count on my 2 hands how many times i've fallen for their words.

If you've liked her for that long, its time to make a move.  What have you got to lose? The worst than can happen is that she will say no but chances are she will say yes if its that time of the year (when everyone's finding dates)

Go for it, You never know what she will say or think of you till you ask. Ask her out on a simple date and see how that goes and then maybe you guys can go steady. Remember the worst thing she could say is no.
