  1. If he's asleep then that means he's dreaming. Just a regular old doggy dream. Nothing to worry about. My beagle does this all the time. It's funny to watch.

Probably dreaming about chasin something. Ha

  2. Its normal, my puppy twitches in his sleep a lot, the first time I noticed it, I freaked out and told my friend who, of course laughed at me, and said that my puppy was having dreams, even joked that the pup was chasing rabbits or something.

  3. He is dreaming

  4. Hey i know he is just dreamin....my yorkie sdoes it all the time too....but u can consult a vet just in case...maybe he is sick

  5. Maybe he is dreaming but if your worried I would call the vet in the morning to be sure!

  6. Yep, he's dreaming.  It's totally normal.  He doesn't respond immediately because he is in a deeper state and doesn't wake as quickly.

We always say they're chasing rabbits when our dogs and cats dream!

  7. If it repeats over and over, I would take it to the vet asap

  8. Your dog was in deep REM sleep.  Once a sleeping dog starts "running" or twitching, he's in the REM cycle, which is extremely deep sleep and when tests have shown there is the most brain activity.  He was probably having a great dream!
