Should i be lucky to have a bro like him?

Question

OK so im 15 years old and have a 27 year old brother that is amazing i think!

I can tell him anything (periods, guys, school, life anything!)

When he's home to visit with his girlfriend we, wrestle, watch movies together, hang out etc...

I have stayed at their house 4 times for 1-2weeks at a time and its fun!

I don't feel awkward around him or anything!

I call him once a week and always talk on msn!

Even though i have two parents that are amazing!

I can trust him with anything no matter what it is!

My friend says im to close to him and shouldn't be because he's my brother! She says i shouldn't talk to him about some of the stuff we talk about!

When i've stayed with them i've needed to ask him to buy me tampons once cause i didn't bring any and his girlfriend wasn't home!

Well my friend also said that's not right to ask your brother for! Well what was i supposed to do?

So am i lucky to have him or what?

Your friend obviously doesn't have a brother nearly as wonderful as yours and doesn't understand.  The reason your brother is so cool is that he's old enough to be wise and listen and give you good advice, but still young enough to remember when he was your age.

Treasure your time with your brother, and don't let your friend tell you otherwise.

you are really lucky.you guys arent only siblings.you guys are really good friends.congratulations.thats really hard to acheive, i think.i know i don't have that with my brother.still love my lil bro tho..really your friend may be jealous.ignore those comments from her.your relationship with your brother is real special

You are EXTREMELY lucky and should feel grateful and blessed.  Many people don't have a family member they can be like that with much less a friend and you have it wrapped into one.  I think your friend is jealous and probably needs someone she can be like that with.  It's very uplifting to hear this and can only hope one day my two sons take care their much younger sister that way your brother does you.  BE PROUD OF IT!

i should say that u r lucky....

but well, still, anything can happen, so just watch out.  there r people who becomes victim of their closest people......i should say u better really take care of urself. (i'm not trying to frighten u, but things like that do happen, cause some people in this world has lost all morale in theirselves)
