  1. I started acting in live productions at the age of 8.  I was incredibly shy growing up and didn't actually come out of my shell until college.  Despite that, I loved theatre.  It gives you a chance to really explore different characters and personalities without being judged.  It's not like public speaking, because you're interacting and the majority of the time, the audience won't notice if you messed up a line.  You're also not just staring at an audience.  Get lost in your character.  There's nothing to be nervous about.  If you mess up, it's your character that messed up.  Roll with it.  Deal with the mistake as your character would, and no one will notice.

  2. Remember that it's not you on the stage and saying those words. It's the someone else, its the character.

  3. oh no your gunna pee your pants in front of the whole audience and forgot your lines! that what i do

  4. I wouldn't be scared, it's alright to be nervous, but don't worry about it! youre probably in to have fun anyway, so just do it and have fun and enjoy yourself! (-:

  5. being nervous is natural. just go over your lines a lot, and you will be fine. no need to worry :)

  6. Perfectly normal. Just make sure it doesn't overtake you when you perform or audition. Go over your lines and take deep breathes before you go on. Acting is a great stress reliever and one of the most fun things to do. Break a leg and have fun!

  7. Just do it

  8. you will be wonderful...break a leg kid.
