Should i be supplementing my algae eater with food? He is the smallest kind they have around?

Yup i agree with the previous answer.Try breaking it enough so he/she can eat it. Or put some flake food and have it go down the filter and it might sink to the bottom or get stuck there and wait for him/her to get it and eat it. =]

Break pieces of Algae Wafers of and give them to him a little at a time. That should be plenty.
