Should i be there or not????

so to make a short story short i have been living in europe up to a year ago my dad moved here 22 years ago remarried and has 3 kids

i never met them only spoke to the 2 oldest on the phone

today i got a call telling me that he is being search for by the police in a murder charge (i'm not kidding) no one knows if he is involved or missing

so my question i would like to be there for my dad we always had contact just not the rest but they are very nice actually

should i fly down to be there to support my dad or should they stand it out on their own would i be in their way

hmMm.... i think you should call your father and ask how everything is and say do you want me to fly there or would you like me to stay honestly what do you think is the best thing for me to do rite now and if you hear him like umMm well its up to you thats kind of a sign that he wants you to be there with him buy anyhow best wishes

I would sit tight until you have additional information.  Once you get the full story and you still feel you need to be there to support your dad, then go.
