  2. First of all...you ask the eye doctor not just someone in the office, etc  Then...you use some common sense.  Do you NEED to use your glasses to see properly for any of these things?  Is safety ever an issue etc? Unless you do, then no...you do NOT need to wear your glasses all the time.  But again...talk to the real doc...

  3. At a +2.75, you probably should use them all of the time or consider contact lenses.  If you are very young, you have a lot of focusing ability and can see in the distance with effort, and possibly up close with even more effort.  That doesn't mean you should work that hard to see.  At the very least, wear them to read, compute, and drive at night (also in the day if you don't meet driving requirements without them.) As you age, your ability to focus through the far-sightedness will decrease and you will find yourself becoming more and more dependent on glasses or contact lenses.

  4. with that prescription for both eyes  -i think you are farsighted.

Usually you can tell if you can wear them all the time-  it depends on how you feel. I just changed my glasses yesterday - and i feel i don't want to take them off now-  because i can see much better. with the other pair - i constantly put them on and off - depending on the distance that i was looking at.

if you're confortable with them all the time (so it's not like an instinct to take them off to see better some things) - i think you can wear them all the time. if you see better in the distance without them - then use them for tv&reading - close and intermediate distances.

    Cheers.
