Ok so i am from a family who all believe in natural remedies, my dad is a homoeopath, naturopath, remedial therapist iridologist and much more. I want to be a midwife, just helping to deliver babies and looking after pregnant women, but i heard its easier if you become a nurse beforehand. I do not want to get vaccinations and i do not believe in drugs for 'healing'. Can you please shed some light on this, should i do something else?

Thankyou.

  1. Not much point being a nurse if you don't like vaccinations and don't believe in drugs??

  2. Track down mid-wives, find out what is all involved.

  3. If you don't believe in drugs, you will have issues applying them, unless you see it as part of your job, but your mind will be sort of divided unless you decide for sure, regardless.

  4. medial?

  5. I think ,better you became  a nurse. As you mentioned your family believe in herbal or natural remedies.

It smell's good have some variety and new experiances.

  6. I am a healer (light worker energy worker) from a 4 year school. The best thing my teacher ever told me was: "Remember that physicians are healers too. They have a higher purpose to heal the planet as well". This was alarming to me for the first time to hear, but I realized that for each person there is a purpose. (Even though I do not believe in vaccinations myself!smile). I thought because "they" were

"traditional" it meant that they were "less" than "our" new and better ways of healing. But remember for each person there is a way. Many people are not ready for ultimate alternative healing. The good news is many people are. You will find the right people for you no matter how you decide to practice what is true for you with respects to healing people. That being said, MOST people now a days are mostly unconscious, as well as the people who will hire you. New people to healing need to see a LOT of diplomas before they can entrust their care to your hands. So (From experience) I say to you, GET THE DIPLOMA!!! The most successful people have " The ticket" (Yes, it takes A LOT  of alphabets after one's names..phd...rna..masters etc..) But what it tells your clients ( and future employers) is that you can make it though their "box" (educational standard) and that you have mastered it. Now, once you have the "alphabets" after you name, you can decide how YOU choose to create your private practice... You will have the BEST of both worlds..Enough credentials to make the average client and employer comfortable, and the confidence to do what feels true in your heart. ( I have twenty diplomas...the clients look at them to make sure I am qualified, but when all is said and done, I have designed my own work, which is far more efficient than any diploma on the wall! The diplomas only give your clients security. It is what you do with them in your time with them that will actually change their lives for the better.!) Without the credentials, you will have a HARD time proving to your clients you are actually qualified. ( I know you came from a family of healers, but most people wont' give that any credence!) DON"T make it hard on yourself financially and professionally. Get the diploma, then do whatever your heart calls you to do! Trust your inner healer...it will guide you to your higher practice!
