  1. i think being a vegetarian is much healthier

because you get to eat more vegetables

  2. Being vegetarian can be very healthy, but it depends what exactly you eat. Sometimes I get lazy and dont feel like making a salad, or anything else nutritious.

So, I end up eating something pre-packaged and full of processed flour or a lot of starch. (which isn't good in large quantities)

Compared to what the rest of my family is eating, (for example a skinless chiken breast) it's unhealthy.

but then again, (when I'm not feeling lazy and actually eat veggies) it can be much more healthy than eating meat that is covered in BBQ sauce or something else full of high-fructose corn syrup and sugar.

  3. yep, pretty sure it is, not as much cholestreol and stuff, can lower the risk of heart disease.  just keep up your iron and your good :)

  4. Yes. Yes, you should.

And the people who tell you that it isn't healthier are just saying that because they are the meat industry's drones and they don't know anything about nutrition.

And also, don't buy into the "you need meat! It has protein!" Like nothing else has protein. Just a heads up, because if you're thinking about becoming a vego, you'll definitely encounter that.

If you have 2 hours, I'd be glad to explain to you why it's healther. Haha.

EDIT: Yeah....I never said you had to become vegan. I'm vegan. Maybe you got confused when you saw my source? Haha.

    --------------------------------------...

BROKEN: Weak point. Like the "food pyramid" knows all.

CLINT P: Vegetables don't have fiber and protein, eh? I'll have you know meat, eggs, milk, and cheese contain NO fiber. Vegetables and grains are very high in fiber. And as far as protein goes, vegetables contain a lot of that too. Especially spinach and beans.

  5. Yes it is actually. The less meat you eat the better! Just make sure you get plenty of soy milk, beans, raw nuts and raw nut milk, and veggie meats(if you'll touch veggie meats which I won't). Only drink organic milk since non-organic milk comes from mistreated cows that are pumped up with antibiotics and hormones that force their bodies to produce twice as much milk as their supposed to! Not to mention hormones are terrible for you! Organic gelatin-free yogurt is also rich in protein and calcium and you can eat small amounts daily for the benefits of live-active cultures that aid digestion.

And you don't forget fruits and veggies! Lot's of em!

People who have a diet heavy in meat, especially red meats, ushually get high-cholesterol, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

If you truly love meat and just can't let go, either substitute the red meat in your diet for wild-caught(not farm-raised) fish, or have red meat as a treat once a week or so.

Eat right and live long! cheers

  6. yes you can you can eat some vegetables if you want, and if you want to be a vegetarian you can eat vegetables everyday... and you didn't buy or eat meat...

  7. No. Don't miss out on chicken, beef, fish, pork, and venison! Vegetables are awesome, but so is some hot juicy Mexican chicken casserole covered in cheese!

Vegetables don't give you fiber and protein, you would have to replace those somehow. It won't taste as good as real food.

Yeah yeah yeah. I knew someone was going to feel they had to prove me wrong (sounds like you missed out on some of your veggies today). I eat anything I want...that's what EXERCISE is for. I even said vegetables are awesome. I was thinking of the milk I put on my wheaties, and the wheat bread I eat with my chicken sandwich when I said fiber.

  8. yes,and we werent made to  eat animals according to Jesus.he said in the bible about not to eat meat or flesh
