Should i bring my digital camera to a concert.?

im going to the american idol live concert tour. how do u sneak it in throught the metal detecter?

Find out if the place will allow cameras.  If not,  do not try to sneak it in, because if security sees you taking pictures, they can either take your camera away and you will never see it again, or you could be kicked out.  Do you want to chance that?   So make a call to the theater/auditorium and find out what the policy is.  

Then go and have a good time!

well i know a lot of concerts allow you to bring in cameras and cam corders so i dont see why this would be any different. i mean, maybe they dont want you bringing the camera in, so if says dont i wouldnt. but if there isnt anything, just bring it, im sure a lot of other people will too. i also didnt know that they had metal detectors- i guess it's just to make sure there wont be any emergencies: so, put the camera in or whatever and get it checked. they'll give it back to you if it's "safe" and theyre positive theres no harm. if they dont want you having it they will keep it until after the show. have fun!

You are risking confiscation of your camera ... and depending upon the agreement you "signed" when you bought the ticket, even arrest if you do get it in and are later caught with it.

Unless the ticket does NOT say, "No Cameras or Recording Devices Allowed", leave your camera home
