Shorts. Maybe pyjamas, when I was in California 10 years ago, I noticed that once the sun went down it could get a bit chilly. But I didn't bother with pyjamas as I always sleep in the buff. Then again, in Miami, Florida 4 years ago, on my second night I ended up getting pissed and, maybe the jet lag, fell asleep and then found myself outside the hotel room wearing nothing and no card to get back in. Had to go down to the lobby and put my head round corner and ask receptionist for new card. Laughed about it later.
