Question:

Should i buy a 2 yr plan protection against any accidental damage for a digital camera $185 $30 4 da plan?

its an olympus camera that i bought for $185 and i have 14 days to add that protection, i wanted to buy the cheapest camera but it wont be if i buy that $30 plan, what should i do??? :|

  1. Put it this way. If two years from now you still have the camera and its working fine then it will have been a waste of money. On the other hand if 6 months from now the camera quits working then you are gonna kick yourself in the butt for not buying the extended warranty.

    One last thing-ask how long the original manufacturers warranty is for. The camera should come with a manufacturers warranty. If it comes with like a 1 year warranty i wouldnt buy the additional one. If its just got like a 90 day warranty i would go ahead and buy the extended warranty.  


  2. No. Just look after it. A digital camera should last at least 2 years. If not get your money back under Consumer Protction Act; goods must be fit for the purpose they were intended for. You shouldn't have any trouble with Olympus.
