Should i buy a head unit or amp and what kind?

if you buy a good head unit it should be plenty of power for your speakers. But the amp will give you the most out of your speakers. If you wanna get an amp it depends on how many speakers your powering. usually a 4 channel amp is the best for speakers, if your powering 4 speakers. If you dont really care on it being really loud just stick with a head unit. but if you want it to hit real hard you should get the amp and probably get a sub too. I like alpine, kenwood, and jl audio. they make pretty good stuff.
