  1. Personally i wont go to Mac for multiple reasons. Price $$$ is number one reason. Here are some others... You need money. Updated OS versions cost money. Less programs are cracked for mac. ( yes i use cracked programs, to try out! )

I have 2 pc's, one for internet stuff and the other for audio recording and stuff ( doesn't go on the net ). Anyways i use zero virus protection, zero firewall, zero spyware, adware or whatever and have not gotten even the smallest virus. I never have any issues with "my" pc's. But when i jump on a mac, never fails something gets frozen. Usually on the net somewhere.

Macs are good dont get me wrong, but they are over rated. making them over priced.

  2. yes if you buy a macbook you can run mac osx and windows i personally think they are worth it they are easy to use laptops and since you can run windows on it you can use all of your files from your pc on there

  3. its not that you should do work with macbook.

you may switch to others also.

    Better try sony VAIO!

    They are pretty good.

  4. Yes you can use Windows on Mac, but you have to purchase it separately, and it will still be prone to viruses, like a normal Windows pc. Although, these viruses won't affect the Mac part.

I don't have a Mac, but whoever owns one, is extremely happy with it.

The disadvantages I've heard of Mac are that softwares are harder to find, and that they shock you. I've heard this from Mac owners.

Apart from that, it's a good machine. I'm considering buying one myself. Unfortunately the Macbook pros are ridiculously expensive.

If you're considering Windows, I would say Toshiba and Vaio are the best- from personal experience.

    Hope this helps.

  5. I have two friends with macbooks and they are always having to get one thing or another fixed... I would say "Dude your gettin a Dell"... or at least you should.

  6. Macbooks are good, as i have one. My whole school uses them so its sort of systematic. Software is hard to get for Macs. Viruses don't occur either.

I would just say do as much research as you can on them and ask a professional or two.

  7. It really depends what you want from a laptop.  Have you tried OSX?  Do you want to use PhotoBooth, GarageBand, and the other applications bundled with the MacBook?  Do you plan on using Windows on it? (You'll have to purchase Windows separately).
