  1. Buy an 'x-clamp fix kit' off me for £4 + p&p. I sell them on Ebay and 1100+ people have fixed their xboxes with my kits so when yours does go wrong you have everything you need to fix it. It's simply a replacement for the x-clamps with the right sized bolts, washers and a sachet of thermal paste to replace the awful MS thermal pads. You could buy the parts yourself but since I buy in bulk it works out cheaper + my repair guide is v good!

Just look up XBOX_EXPERT on Community page of ebay.co.uk

  2. I would have to say get a ps3.I got a xbox 360 and i dont like it i am getting me a ps3 before long i had that red ring of death thing happen to me and i only had my xbox 360 for 8 months and that happen i would tell ever body not to get a xbox 360 unless they fix that red ring of death thing i will like xbox. Also with ps3 you dont have to pay for online gaming.Ps3 will last you longer too so dont buy a xbox 360 i do like there online gaming and all but i just think pay for it is just not my thing. The thing that really p**s me off is that ps3 havve blueray and xbxo make you play 100 dollars for one kiss my AZZ Xbox

  3. Most of the new ones have been built to protect the 360 from getting the red ring of death. You should because of all the great games and the online play.

  4. You should get one. I think the Live is better than the Playstations. Also, the newer Xbox 360's were designed to be protected from the RRoD. The kind you want depends on what you like to do. If you like to just play and not download anything and also just not really even make a lot of saved games, than just get the Premium with no harddrive, if you like to put on music and download stuff and do stuff that takes up a little bit of space, then you should get the Premium with the 20GB harddrive. If you like to do stuff that takes up a lot of space then you should get the Elite. But what I did was just bought the Premium with no harddrive and then bought the 120GB harddrive which is on the Elite for $200. It might save you money depending on where you buy the stuff. But it's generally the same price.

EDIT** That guy saying PS3's are better doesn't know what he's talking about. I've had my Xbox for 2 1/2 years now, and I haven't had any problems with it. I usually play for atleast 4 1/2 hours a day too. So you should be fine. Besides, as I said before, they've been working on the RRoD problem, the newer ones have stuff to prevent it. Just don't put an intercooler on it. Also make sure the area it's in is well ventilated. I also reccomend laying it down too, when you stand it up, you have a chance of knocking it down, and if there is a game in it whether its on or not the game will get f*cked up. Also, try to keep it by a fan or something of the sort, incase it gets extremely hot.

  5. My husband and son each got a 360 last october and they play constantly and neither one of them have ever had the red ring. My sons 360 is played at least 5 hours a day not just for games but for movies.

  6. i play at least 2 hours a day and i have had mine since christmas

so just occasionally turn it off

and you should have a problem with it

  7. yes. deffinately. dont get a ps3. xbox 360's are more breakable and heat up more than ps3's but the online play and games are better
