  1. NO WAY!

  2. this is a bicycling site.  maybe that's not a coincidence.  i  suggest you get him on a bicylce.  if you don't have one, then you get one too so he has someone to ride with.  one helmet each please!!

  3. his  to young get him a good bmx bike so he can jump and all that

  4. Sure - might save you on college fees.

He might not be around to need them.

  5. check with DSS first..

  6. Do you live somewhere that he can actually use it? These are street legal in most places but with a 110cc motor, most states require a regular driver's license at least to ride it.

If you do have somewhere to go, and racing is something that your family enjoys, I know many younger kids have tried Motocross, become sponsored and enjoy the lifestyle well past their twenties.

If this is something that he wants because it is cool and he really just wants to ride it around, it is a little too powerful for that and he will more than likely just get in trouble.

Look at these for a fun alternative that will keep the speed down but check local regulations before buying as some places have outlawed using these on the street or in parks:

    Don't forget a helmet!

  7. I don't see why you shouldn't buy him one, as long as YOU maintain control of when and where he uses it, as well as how fast he goes. But if you really don't feel comfortable with the speed it can go, maybe you should check around for a slower model or something similar that doesn't go as fast.
