  1. If you do buy her the one with the code nuumber:

      31090

  2. Sure, why not? Couldn't hurt.

  3. no what if one of her friend got hold of it? or what if one of her boyfriends had a dispute with her and used it on her?

    (you never know!)

  4. No. for the simple reason that to use

a taser you have to be close enough to

touch the attacker. That's too close.

Better to use pepper spray or Bear-Guard.

An even better idea is to find a local law enforcement

agency that offers civilian classes on crime and safety.

They're not teaching anyone how use a gun or anything.

They teach people how to use their head to stay safe

    and avoid trouble.

The taser's that police use that shoot two electrodes on wires,

may not be legal for civilians in some or most areas.

    Check your local laws.

  5. Personally, I think a taser is a bit extreme.  Pepper spray is much more compact and is capable of defending your daughter well enough.

  6. As long as she tries it on herself first so she knows what effect it will have on others. I don't mean to sound nasty, but any weapon can be used improperly.

  7. how about insurance?

  8. heck no, tell her to keep her doors locked and windows rolled up. c'mon its a little across the line.

  9. No, buy her pepper spray, she will have a better chance of getting away.

  10. uhh tasers are illegal where i live

  11. Illegal in some states...pepper spray maybe? Or a good self defense course.
