I am thinking of getting a gecko and a few weeks ago i went to petsmart and the employees were helpful in every way possible and they even let me hold a bunch of lizards. Then i went to petco to compare and at petco i asked if they had crested geckos. they asked me if i were buying one that day and i said no, so they just ignored me, so personally i would choose petsmart and petsmarts cages were nicer and BIGGER while Petcos were about 5 gallon holding 20 leopard geckos and a very sick looking chinese water dragon
