Should i buy the radeon 4850 or the geforce 9800gtx?

if i can get either of them for the same price($150) used, which one is a better card?(i game at 1680x1050 resolution)

The 4850 is generally a better card in all situations and is great for high resolutions and AA. The only place is might need improvement is in the temperature it runs at. The 9800gtx has lower performance in pretty much every game and application. Like I said above the 4850 runs a lot hotter than the 9800gtx however this means that the 9800gtx will be a bit louder because of the fan speeds.

...So my recommendation is the 4850.

9800 gtx all the way ATI drivers are terrible
