hi guys, i need some advise. i work for this small-medium size company just an intern & the ceo of of this branch happen to be really nice to me at some point. i guess he would just feel sorry for or he felt compassion not sure what but i took his attention in a different way and started to really like him. he is in late 40's and a very decent and principled guy and i respect him alot. since i am leaving i sent him personal email saying that i would miss him as i didnt get to say bye and he replied to it being professional and nice thanking me and saying that i could call him if i needed to talk to him about something. he also encouraged me to tell him what i was thinking about so it would give him time to think about it before we speak. i guess he was just being helpful but i took it literally and just told him that i had grew fond of him at some point as he was really nice to me and that i wanted to apologize if i ever gave him the impression of being difficult as i did and that it would be nice if i could say hi to him sometimes. he never replied and we got this email from the company A that we are a part of saying that emails have been misued stating the code of conduct recently. i feel terrible and i just want to talk to him once before leaving. i think he had them send this email not sure but i also dont mean to put him in trouble.what shd i do ?

  1. It would seem your feelings go beyond professional & are now in the personal side of things?

But if you're truly just wanting to say, "Good bye", then by all means, dial him up when you know he's not busy.

  2. Yup. Call him. Maybe you guys do for this big important company. Guys may not say it but we do want to talk. If he really does care about you he'll be expecting a call.
