Hi.

I dont have bad acne at all, most of the time my face is pretty clear, with the occasional one or two pimples. But when i break out, i break out, and on my forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. And it takes months for them to go away. My mom made me an appointment for the derm, but my face is starting to clear up. Do you think i should still see one? my mom said that if my face was clear we should cancel the appointment.

thanks (:

  1. Yes, because since it usually takes so long to get a derm appt.  Go for it. even thought I hate most dermatologists because they charge you out of the booty and don't do sh*t for you.

  2. No I think you should stick with the appointment cause the derm can give you creams or astringents to help your skin...you need to get the help now that its clear or it wil get worse or take longer to clear up.

  3. A good derm is hard to find. Keep the appointment. Your doctor will be able to prescribe you cream that you can keep for when you do get a really bad breakout. Then you can deal with it ASAP.

  4. Yes I think you should still see one.  You should get the dermatologist to prescribe something that would make you stop having breakouts.

  5. keep the appointment she can still give you some cream to help you keep from breaking out. and also try going to the tanning bed I knew a guy in high school that had a lot of pimples and he started going to the tanning bed and in 3 months his face was so clear he had some scares from where he had popped some but other than that he look good! and his face stayed clear for the next 2 and a half yearsand a great tan to top it lol

  6. Um depending on the face usually for moderate acne such as pimples it may take several months for the marks to completely disappear.
