Should i close some accounts to better my credit report??

I have looked at my credit report, i have 3 open accounts from dental credit cards. I had to finance fixing my jacked up teeth and the accounts are paid off but remain open. I do not plan on using them again. Should i close them or does that make my credit worse?

Leave them be for now.  Sometimes closing accounts can actually have a negative effect on your credit report.  Sounds ridiculous, but credit reports never utilized common sense.
