  1. It will be difficult to handle all three.  Many of the club coaches are also school coaches.  But they do not have school on top of that.  And you might want to have a life besides.

With all of those negatives, you will enjoy coaching and club coaching even if you do not get to sleep.

  2. Will you be getting paid? or volunteering? If it's volunteering then go when you can. But focus more on your school/college.

  3. don't coach i bet you suck

  4. i think it would be a great experience.

even if you dont get paid i think it will be worth it in the end.

    go for it!

    :]

  5. This depends on your abilities.

I remember when I lived in Ft. Worth, Texas.

I worked, sometimes 14-16 hours a day, I attend TCJC community college, just a few classes. Then I had my private life. One day this woman ask if I would coach these 7 year old girls' softball team. There was another man too that would help, so, I thought it be fun. But, it was time consuming as I did want to coach these girls. I took them and a few parents to this little ball park to throw and hit the ball everyday. It was a lot of time!!! So, think if you truly going to commit, you want to do your best!

We never won a game, poor little girls, heck, most had never even seen a bat, much less catch a ball. But, I encouraged them and there was always an Ice Cream after the game.

IF, I had to do this again ............... I would do it again.

Very rewarding experience, but, it was not easy, working and keeping my grades up and social life.

  6. Well i think that you should try it out and see if you might like it, and if it is too much for you than just don't do it. Don't rush trough things, just take it one step at the time.

  7. The first answerer is so dead right.

    School first.

coz' if you coach a team, your schedule will be around it.

Do you want your coach to not show up or be late because of their personal reason?

Can you commit to it? 100%? season start to season end?

Still, i'll suggest you to try it.  Maybe you should try reffing, too.

your first year of college should be easy & you should have a little fun coaching the youngers & you'll get some good experience.

  8. concentrate on school you have the rest of your life to coach......
