Should i continue to surf? despite the accident, i really love it. my ear got bit offf and my bro lost his arm

surfing is my passion im from hawaii and im rated num 24 in the state in several tornaments but yesterday i totally wiped out and a shark bite my left ear off. not kidding. i love surfing but my famly is encouraging me to stop. idk however my brother lost an arm swimming so i guess it may be dangeous. anyway hang loose bros!!

Don't quit something you love to do.  Twenty years from now you dont want to be wondering about what could have happened if you stayed with the sport.  So get out there and continue surfing, but just remember to be careful!

I live in Hawaii, What area are you surfing cuz I was at pipeline and backdoor surfing all day and I didn't here anything about  a shark.
