Should i cut my hair even shorter???

Question

ok i started straightening my hair every day and my hair was destroyed

it felt like straw it was disgusting so my sister cut my hair up to my shoulders, then i cut it myself even shorter and it's very uneven i look like a wacko and my mom and sister are telling my to go to the salon and they'll even it out but it'll be really short like a boy then. and i don't wanna look like a L*****n, no offence. i'm starting school tomorrow too.

anyways my mum made me cut my hair to my shoulder too and i hated it too at first...

but i cut it 3 months ago in a salon and they gave me free hairspray and products for free n now

my hair's halfway down my back!~

go to a salon so u wont be made fun of. theres lots of people with short hair that looks cute. try some of rihannas haircuts. do some research on the net and find some pics. good luck!

i think that you need to go to the hairdressers and explain to them what you have just asked, about you not wanting it too short etc, and see what they say. Loads of people look good with short hair and i bet your one of them, it's better to have it cur short but nice then have it look all uneven! try using styling gels in it to give it a more edgy look, this looks great!

anyway the main issue is that it has happened now so you just do what you think would look the best

The best thing to do is go and get it fixed by a professional. If you don't want to have the very short hair, you could always get extensions that can cost up to 60-200 dollars. but if your hair is short it's going to cost less. You can get clip in extensions, fast and cheap, so you'll have them for tomorrow.

One option would be to wear your hair up everyday (except when you're just home and not going out anywhere) until it grows out longer and you won't feel uncomfortable getting it cut shorter. It could take awhile, depending on how fast your hair grows.

There's tons more to choose from, you just have to look at magazines or other pictures online to get styling tips. My advice would be to get your hair styled, not just cut, so it looks like you meant to cut your hair short, not just because you wanted to even it out. I would also suggest going with a shorter style, just so that way when your hair grows out, it will be all healthy hair and not damaged (given, you stopped straightening it everyday). So, you'll have a clean slate, so to speak.
