  1. major in criminal justice and minor in psych. a psychology degree would come in handy with anything having to do with law enforcement, plus it could open up more career opportunities in the field.

  2. How about being a forensic psychologist e.g. a "profiler".

  3. Just because you major in psychology doesn't mean you have to be a psychologist. There are many different fields out there. I am currently majoring in criminal justice and I love it. So it's really up to you. Make your own decisions. Don't let others make it for you.

  4. Yeah... like we don't have enough women majoring in psychology already.

    My advice: Medieval French poetry.

  5. if you don't wanna be psychologist then don't! Even though I know your mom has you best interest at heart it's still your education, and you have to be happy with what you're doing, not her. I would still say that you can do criminal psychology studying the minds of criminals and how they perceive the world.

Furthermore, your in high school don't get set on one career field. Look at all your interest and enter college with some flexibility because life never turns out how you expect, no matter how much planning you do. I forget, make sure you have all the fun (safe and clean. lol) that you want because this time passes so quickly.
