Should i do this to my bass or not?

Question

i want to change a 10" 300rms 89 db subwoofer

for a boston acoustics 12" 300rms 92.3 db

same power same amp

will this make a nice sound difference

The Boston Acoustics G212's have nice excursion to them.  They're accurate and will play deeper then the 10" you've got now.  If you can spring a litlle more for a G5, that would be the sub to get.  94 dB efficiency ... and 3" peak to peak excursion.  It's a sub that will make you rethink the big name brands.

There is no denying there will be some difference but at what cost??

you get 10% more sound  by spending $200??

not much return on investment
