Should i do this to my hair?

i have long thick darkish auburn hair. i want to dye the underneath blonde. not COMPLETLY blonde but mostly. should i do it? if not then what SHOULD i do?

I think you should do it blonde on top. like layer it and have the top shorter layers platinum blonde, it would look awesome! Like, have you ever watched a shot at love with teila tequila? The girl Brandy from the first season has this hairstyle. I think it's very dramatic and sassy. I would go for it! And I would go to a salon so your dark hair doesnt turn brassy. It might take awhile to lift your dark hair light enough, but going that many shades lighter, you want a professional to do it. So it gets done right the first time! good luck. i bet it will be cute.

i don't think it would look very good, but that is my opinion. the blonde may just look out of place you know?

if you are dead set on lighter hair you may want to try highlights.
