Should i draft todd heep in my fantasy draft

i am having my fantasy draft very soon and i want to know if todd heep is a good pick someone please help me!!!

I guess the first question is why would you ask about todd heap right off the bat?  You must like him quite a bit considering there are about 7 or 8 tight ends that will outproduce him.  Just saying man.

To answer your question though I would stay away from him for the simple fact they have no passing game.  He may score every once in a while but why not just draft another TE instead.  Let someone else in your league deal with the headache of him not scoring or balls going his way.

Nothing wrong with Heap.  If you like him, you should check his Average Draft Position and then grab him a round or two before he is normally taken.  Assuming you aren't playing in a league with die hard Ravens fans, you should be able to get him.  Just make sure you don't take him too early b/c he isn't worth a high pick.  He gets injured far too much.

He may be a good pick in your second to last round (everybody should know that you don't pick a kicker before the last round) but even then I think there will probably be more value on the board.

Personally I would stay away from him, the Ravens passing game is enemic at best and he tends to get injured often, if you are getting a late pick when it's time to get a tight end look for Jeremy Shockey who is not rated as a top five or ten TE because of injurys last season but he is now with the pass heavy Saints as their starter and will be looked to alot.

Also if you are looking for a sleeper tight end I would check out the Eagles L.J. Smith who is healthy and will be looked to alot to sure up the Eagles red zone offense.

MAYBE. no one does not talk about him anymore and if u get one of those cheat sheets and look at TE and see he is not a top 5 so by the time you get ready to draft a TE dont forget to consider guys like Kellen Wenslow or Chris Cooley because Antonio Gates or Tony Gonzalez will gone.
