  1. Don't Drive

    Wisdom teeth stuff is STRONG.

but if it were a normal pain killing shot for a cavity then go ahead.

  2. It all depends if your dentist will treat the procedure as surgery. If he uses just Novocain, then you could drive. If he uses other kinds of numbing agents or puts you to sleep, then take a driver.

  3. someone should go with you

  4. The numb shots won't keep you from driving, but the pain will.  I would ask someone to drive you.

I'm not going to lie, you're going to be in an awful lot of pain for the next few days.  Since you're having them all done at once, just keep reminding yourself that you will never have to go through this again.

And stock up on baby food (strained plums are the bomb!)

  5. No you should NOT drive a car after 4 wisdom teeth removed.  You will be sore so the doc will give you an injection for pain and then a prescription to fill.  If the doc finds out you are driving he/she may refuse to perform the surgery.

You will feel better with each new day.  I think the pain from having the wisdom teeth being irritated is much worse.  Good luck and please have someone take you!

  6. no you probably shouldn't. only if you want to hurt someone else in a car crash.

  7. I found it very hard to concentrate on what I was doing when I had those numb shots so I'd advise against it just incase, drooling and feeling strange while driving isn't the best combination. Try and get a taxi or a friend to take you there and back.

Nothing worse than trying to drive and regretting it later on when you can't concentrate.

  8. you probably shouldnt.. and yes itll hurt. my sister said it hurt and she could only eat like yogurt.

  9. Yeah it will be painful, but with the numbing shots hopefully it's not too bad. I wouldnt recommend driving. I would definitely have someone else drive you home. Better safe than sorry.

  10. The only thing it should effect is your mouth. You should be numb and feel no pain, but you will be sore later. It you get laughing gas you'll need a driver.

  11. No you will not be drowsy. Unless if they give you nitrous oxide (laughing gas) or a sedative you are fine.

With proper and complete novocaine administration, you won't feel a thing during the pulling. You might feel some pressure, but no pain at all. After the pulling however-- make sure you take the pain pills right away because the novocaine will wear off and the swelling will start in. That is what hurts.

  12. If you get your wisdom teeth pulled out then you need somebody to help you drive because they might put you to sleep.

But if your just getting your cavititys filled and they are giving you shots then you can do it by yourself (Drive)

  13. Do NOT drive. They are gonna give you major pain pills for that. You'll be to "Looopy"

  14. depends on what they use to numb it.

If it's just the shots, then you should be fine.

if they give you nitrous oxide, then don't drive .

  15. If it's wisdom teeth you better have someone drive you. You come out of the dentist appointment all nauseated and sometimes disillusioned.  They don't hurt because don't they usually have you sleep during the procedure?  Afterwards, for me, wasn't so bad, but the next few days is a bit sore. Take lots of aspirin and sleep
