ok, i have an 8 week math class this summer. i haven't had math for 2 years now. i am failing horribly, it's for a liberal arts degree i'm going for but i need to pass this class.i do the homework well but when it comes to the weekly test i blank, i seriously forget everything. i asked my professor what he suggests, he said in all honesty you should drop and take it in the fall where it is slower pace. but, i would if i knew i would get my money back and i won't, plus its going to s***w up my whole graduation process. but, he did say that if i get my test scores up then i might have a prayer of a chance. now, the question is what should i do? should i try harder or just give up? plus, does anyone know any internet sites that could help these last 3 weeks?

  1. i would drop if there is 3wks left and there is no way i can raise my score. if there is a chance you can raise it stay. if you do drop take it in summer school, if your teacher is telling you there is no shot he would be the one to know.

  2. keep fighting

  3. i think you should keep trying! jut do some extra studying, and try to focus. it will all work out!

    good luck!

  4. keep on trying

    do your best=)

    google

practice grade ( ur grade ) mathematics

  5. Ask your professor if there's anyone in the class that would be willing to help tutor you. Then, study, study, study!! Good luck!

  6. WHAT EVER YOU DO....dont give up....TRY and keep fighting!!

  7. The same thing happened to me last semester with an accounting class.  I eventually dropped it.  Even though you won't get your money back, it will be the best thing.  If you drop it, take a more drawn-out version of it in the fall, and study harder, you'll pass it.  It'll also lower your g.p.a. (if you're concerned) if you decide to stay in the class and barely pass it.  By dropping my accounting class, it did mess up my graduation.  But they still let me walk and make it up in the following semester.  When you're barely passing a class like this, it's very stressful and not really worth it.  I'm not sure about any internet sites that could help you with math.  I'm the type of person that needs a "tutor" to actually sit down with me and show me the process.  Hopefully this is helpful...sorry about your situation..it'll work out!
