Let him go..My ex was the same , however he's the one that ended up leaving me and then when I go to visit my mom he never leaves me alone. So, it might be harder for him, since u said he was controlling. Good luck!!

A little more info would be good but are you happy with him? If not and he makes you feel bad drop him there's plenty of good guys out there

yes. even the fact that you are considering it is a warning sign that the realtionship is not a good one. you can care for someone deeply and still know that they aren't good for you. break it off, but give yourself time to prepare first (without letting him know!) so that you don't feel all sorry later and go back, just because he is a familiar set of arms to run to. you could be missing out on a rewarding relationship with a good guy by staying w/ this one.

And Candy is wrong. NOT all guys are like that when they're in love. you can do better.
