  1. i suggest that you do the spanish three this year and not skip cause the spanish is still fresh in your mind that if you wait a year

  2. As I college student,  I would say that if you plan on taking higher than Spanish 3 at some point in high school (AP classes), then you should stick with it, if not, you may be able to give yourself a break.  Actually, depending on what college you chose to attend you will most likely have a foreign language requirement which is easier to get through if you have taken Spanish right before college.

Obviously, don't overwork yourself, but keep in mind what you will be required to take in college in a few years and don't lose ground.  I've been done with Spanish for about 2 years and I've already forgotten a lot.

  3. a lot of colleges require 3 years of a foreign language so you should take spanish 3.

  4. Class of 2010

I took spanish 1 & 2 my sophomore year. This year I'll be taking 3 & 4, although my teacher had recommand me to take the honors course... I couldn't due to my other classes. I wouldn't want to put a gap between your years of spanish... it may not be a good ideal. Plus if it wasn't for those engineering classes I was force to take my first 2 years of high school, I'll be taking spanish 5 & 6 my senior year. Although I no longer can fit that in my schedule for 12th grade as well.... its already full.
