Should i friend request him on facebook?

ok so there's this person i met at a high school function on wednesday. He knows my brother and i'm sure he could make the connection. they went to a school similar (and equally horrible) as mine last year and i dont want him to think im like a stalker. i want to be these things worry me. lol
