  2. personally i would go with a lizard. two great lizards are leopard geckos and crested geckos. they are both farely low maintnence and they are tolerant with handling. Anywayz good luck with your choice, make a wise one!

  3. While it really depends on what you are looking for in a pet; personally, I would go with the lizard. :)

Turtles, while they are amazing, intelligent, fascinating animals, can be pretty high maintenance depending on the species. Here are a couple of very good write-ups on turtles as pets:

And despite being very cute, mice tend to have very short lifespans, and need their cages cleaned out very regularly to keep the smell to a minimum. Plus; two male mice rarely get along. Often times they will fight to the death. Here is a website that goes into further detail on the subject:

As far as lizards go; they are hypoallergenic, they don't smell, some species are very easy to care for, they are very interesting, they are quiet, many species are handleable, most have pretty long lifespans, and all around they make a wonderful pet for the right keeper.

If you are looking for suggestions on individual lizard species; I would highly recommend a Leopard Gecko, a Crested Gecko, a Viper Gecko, a Gargoyle Gecko, or an African Fat-tailed Gecko.

All are nocturnal so they don't need UV lighting, are very interesting looking, low maintenance, docile, do quite well with handling, are small, don't require huge enclosures, and the African Fat-tails, Vipers and the Leopards in particular make great starter lizards. :)

Here are care sheets for all of the Gecko species I just named:

I hope this helps, and if you have any further questions at all on the subject; please feel free to message me and I will be more than happy to assist you. :)

Good luck on your pet search!

  4. mice are not worth 10$

get a turtle   they are cute!

  5. Just a heads up - you wouldn't be able to house the two mice together if they are males, they will fight.

  6. You should go with a turtle. I have had 3 turtles. i really liked them. They all have had 1 ye though. Its my grandmas fault for getting them with one eye but all well.:) i still liked them. They are easy to take care of too. You also should buy mcie off of craigslist. Just get them form a store if you wanted them. you can make sure there all healthy and well taken care of.

  7. id say a mini turtle but thats as i cant stand mice , i used to have a lizard and iv always wanted a turtle ... its really up to u and what suits ur situation

  8. go for a turtle. they live a lot longer, require almost no care if they have proper housing and actually show appreciation, not too mention acknowledgment that they are actually alive. also, when you get a turtle you have a chance for some real personality.

i have had mine for nine years and hes the coolest pet ive ever had that wasn't a dog.

forget the mice and go with the turtle.

  9. it depends on what kind of pet you want.

if you want to breed easily, you must get a rat coz the're low maintenance to keep and breed.

a lizard...?exactly what kind?they're hard to breed and not s,well "cute"...i do not suggest it.

for the turtle, hard to breed also but worth it.they're not so low maintenance as they may take time to care for.

i'm not gving you orders.just go where you want.just have fun
