  1. braces- as long as they are looked after properly- really dont have to take too long. you can be surprised as to how quickly they work and they dont damage your teeth, so i would go for them.

  2. Braces veneers they grind the enamel off then cement veneers on. To damaging unless there is no other way.

  3. Braces are the best and safest way to go to preserve your original teeth.  If you are worried about how you look, they now make braces that hold on from the back and do not look like braces from the front.  You are too young to have your teeth messed up with veneers.  They will only last a few years and you will be stuck getting them replaced every few years for the rest of your life.  Unless you are an actor and must look great for the camera next week, go with the braces.

  4. u should take in considerations that the veneers will be smaller than ur original natural teeth, so if ur teeth are so crowded or mal aligned, veneers wont solve the problem, if the crowding is mild go ahead

  5. Well, you are correct in that getting veneers effects your teeth forever. But with veneers, the dentist actually only shaves a small amount away from the tooth, and the veneer is just a little jacket. If you have two teeth that protrude, then getting a veneer will not help. A full porcelain crown is a better bet. The doctor does take more tooth structure away though, but this is a good thing in your case. This way the teeth aren't as bulky and  he can shave it down more so they don't look like they stick out so much. Then when you get the full porcelain crown on there, he can make it look more natural and bring the appearance of the tooth inward more. Braces are probably the best bet though because it is so much less invasive and you don't have to cut on virgin teeth. Invisalign is what I would recommend for someone your age. You have to be dedicated and make sure you wear them every day in order for it to actually work, but the results take anywhere from a year to two years, and you don't have that "brace face" look. Some general dentists perform invisalign, so your dentist might. If not, you can find an invisalign provider on there web site by telling them where you live. Good luck!!
