    Only because it's newer. less chance of issues.

    Allot more than CCs need to go into the decision though.


  2. If it were the same year bike, I would vote for the 750 hands down.  But 2 years is a lot of chassis development, brakes, ecu, etc.  I would probably pick the 06 based on that.

  3. There is so much more to a bike than the engine displacement. It doesn't even determine performance, as an efficient 500 can beat an inefficient 750. Still on the subject of performance, you have to compare the actual power output of the engine as well as the gearing of the transmission and the weight of the bike.

    Beyond performance you have to consider the riding position, controls, and even aesthetics of the bike. After all, a great bike at a great price is often overshadowed by a really ugly design or paint job. Not important to everyone, though.

    Ultimately you need to decide why you want to ride and then figure out what bike best serves that desire. If that comes down to engine size then you're likely riding for a reason that usually gets riders killed.

  4. 1st bike? 600. 04 750 gonna have more miles, I would assume. i have an 02 gix 750 it runs well but its hit and miss with used bikes

  5. i bought an 84 and theres nothin wrong with it a carb adjustmrnt wont fix.
