  1. personal i would go for a 4 stroke; more power and aloowed in more places also quieter but 2 strokes have better acceleration and are faster

  2. Get a 4 stroke 250f as even riding trails a 250f would be better than the 2 stroke 125cc.

There isnt much size difference between the two but a 250f would be slightly better for a taller person as well.

  3. haha...I'm still trying to get rid of my xr...But go with the four stroke. They have more overall power, and just pull everywhere. You'll find that the four strokes are more expensive when you break them, but are less expensive to break. They don't break unless you get a bad bike, or you just don't take care of it. The four strokes are the only bike the pros use.

  4. I'd surely go for the 4stroke, they tend to have a lot more torque and can pull a quite reliable weight. 2strokes are really annoying and harder to care for imo, you have tubes running everywhere and it gets confusing after a while. Plus 4 strokes are what most people use, and it *will* push any rider better than a two stroke.

  5. 4 stroke (it is the way of the future)

  6. u should get a ktm 4 stroke. as i no one of my best friends in the usa riding ktms 4 strokes and i ride a ktm as well.

  7. it is totally based on your personal preference... meaning do u wanna go fast or a put around or just have the speed when u need it.. both of the bikes have speed.   the 2 stroke 125 will be way torky though (if u do or dont like it torky).  a cheaper way to go though would just to put a lift kit on your xr100 and a new exaust... or u could do all of that and put a big bore xr125-650 piston on it... that will give u tremendous speed and all u need to do with that is raise your back shocks a little and but a new set of forks on it... (i have done this stuff to my bike which i love)

  8. if you wanna be the guy at the track everyone laughs at then get a 2 stroke, if you wanna be normal get a 4 stroke.

  9. 125's are terrible for trail riding. For motocross they are fine but can't compete with the 250F. It looks like the AMA is going to separate the 2 classes now and have a 125 and 250F class so the 125 wouldn't put you at a disadvantage in that case. All that aside, 200 lbs is just too heavy for a 125. You really need to go with the 250F.
