Should i get a 250 four stroke or a 125?

Question

im 13 and i ride a kx 85 but im quiet tall 5,8 and quiet big not your average 13 year old, and im too big for my kx 85 small wheel should i get a 250four stroke or a 125 i dont know what to do is a four stroke to powerful i dont know,i dont know if i would be to small and im not that experienced as ive only been riding 2 years not all the time though just occaisonaly THANKS please help

Go size one up at local bike shop,as far as size.Power...a good step from an 85 is the 125.The 250 4-stroke is the equal to a 125 2-stroke as far as speed.The power comes on way different between the two.Look into the 200cc&230 machines as well if the 125 is bit small..

well since u have only been riding for 2 years i dont htinks tthats experienced enough for a 250, so i would go with a 125, and go with suzuki, they make the best 125cc..

if you like two stroke go with the 125. But the four stroke is better with power and size and its more better running and last way longer

Ultimately you have to make the decision yourself but again will say that for resale value you would be better off with a 250 four stroke as that is the way of the future.  At 5:8 you should not be too small for one.

that guy is right the power is a lot different betwwwn four strokes and two strokes. Fourstrokes have immediate power, while twostrokes dont have a lot of low end power. I ride a crf250r and i love it. If I were you I would go with the fourstroke, but just be careful until you feel comfortable with it. I think you will like it a lot better. I went from an 80 to my 250f and everything was good. make sure you check your oil everytime you ride! that cost me a lot of money.
