  1. Good gas mileage, awfully small car, not good to haul junk. Good car to drive to work.


  2. I'm seeing a lot of guys on Ecomodder.com and CleanMPG.com are buying them up so they can hypermile their rides for their daily commute.

    The Metro is really small, tinny, very not-powerful.  But if you can look past all that and pick up the hypermiling habit, I'm seeing unmodified Metros blow deep into the 60mpg range.  That's in a non-hybrid, 10-year-old car.  Not bad.
