  1. I think you should...because cars is a convenient transportation..try to buy a sports car..

  2. Gas prices aren't going to keep going up forever. It's not like this is the first time we've had this kind of "crisis". It's happened several times, and will slow down before long.

and one guy said McCain will lower gas prices? WTF???

  3. if mccain gets elected gas prices will most likely go down as he will allow off shore drilling and have lower taxes. (This will reduce our dependence on the middle east susupplying our oil)

  4. Get the car if necessary, else do not buy it.

Regarding the gas price, you cant do anyting. In this case, try to save your money from those insurance, maintanace, gas saving and etc

  5. maybe u can try buying a hybrid car...

  6. Well, do you need a car in the first place?. If you live in NYC perhaps not, if you live in the boonies it's another matter.

Owning a car is a hefty financial commitment with some fixed costs whether you use it or not on top of the running costs and it is a depreciating asset (it is worth less over time).

But it is a very convenient way of getting around away from town centres so I suggest you work out how useful a car would be in your specific circumstances.

Also a lot of people own specific cars to make a statement about themselves (I run an old classic car for example), not a decision I made based on any kind of logic!.
