Should i get a dog or not.....plz help?

i now getting a dog isnt like buying a car it comes with loads of responsabilities its like having a baby but im getting a dog next summer in the holidays so i can train it and it will be my best friend and ill be so responsable the only problem is when i grow up and get a job ill want it with me as in i wont leave it with my mum and dad but i want to be an air steward so i wont be home much what shall i do ( im not going to collage or uni its just my job )

I think you should... but spend like almost all your time with it when you get home dogs love attention! :)

If your job will involve you going away for days at a time, and you have no one else living with you, it's just you and your dog, I don't think getting a dog would be a good idea. It wouldn't be fare to the dog at all. It takes more then just summer holidays to train a day. It will take the first year of it's life of everyday training! and the training will not stop.  It requires alot of attention and money, also lots of excersie, getting up a few times a throughout the night when its a puppy to let it out to the washroom.

Why not see if your mom & dad will "babysit" for you while you're away?  Or find a roommate who will be there when you are not?  A distant 3rd choice would be to find a doggy "hotel" who will look after your dog while you're away?  Or maybe you should wait to get a dog until you're going to have a better job schedule.

um i think u should... but make sure u spend lots of time with it when u get home from work.
