play xbox 360 on a 32 inch sharp tv right now. The tv is probably 5-7 years old maybe. Its not high def or nothing, just an ordinary tv. It has the standard yellow, white, and red. Now my moniter is a l9 inch wide screen hp w1907 which has a top resolution of 1440x900. Do you think i should play on my tv because its bigger or my moniter because of the better picture. How good will it look on my moniter

  1. Definitely use a VGA cable with the smaller screen.

We had an Xbox 360 connected to a 32inch Sony Trinitron, when a Wii was bought in (not my idea) the Xbox 360 was moved to the back room and connected to a 21inch LCD TV.

Initially there was no difference as the same standard definition cables were used, then we decided to try an Xbox 360 VGA cable...

The difference was amazing!  The colours are clearer, the lines sharper, there is so much colour and detail that you simply could not notice before.  Even at 720p resolution, it's so much clearer running HD cables than standard definition.

Now the Wii at standard definition does not compare, any games that are available for both the Wii and Xbox 360 - I would say get the Xbox 360 version as it will look so much better in High Definition!

  2. it will look better on the smaller screen, because big screens are great but if the resolution is not high then it is better to have a smaller screen with higher resolution

I used to have the JVC 61 inch tv and I used a S-video cable on it, the picture was good and big, but then I got a 50 Inch plasma tv and I'm using now the Component cable, Believe me I was stunned when I saw the difference

its much much better, actually it was like for example the difference between PS one & PS2, that how the difference was like
