  1. It depends, would you just use it for working out or would you also use it to watch movies or shows.  If you just use it to work out, then I would consider the shuffle, but if you would run and watch movies, shows, and listen to music, and play games, then I would consider buying the ipod nano 3rd.

  2. I would defiantly suggest a sansa clip over the shuffle any day. It is better than the nano in almost all aspects except design.

It is close in size and weight

Has a screen incase you get the urge to hear a specific song

    Better sound quality

A lot more features like radio, voice recording and it to has a clip attached to it and is cheaper.

I have one and it is great to work out with because you forget it is there.

However if you want to use your purchase as youre primary mp3 player I would suggest a bigger screen. The sansa fuze and ipod nano's would work pretty well to work out too but I really prefer my clip.

You could get a 8GB fuze for $100 on amazon and a 2GB clip for $50 that is the same amount for a 4GB ipod.

  3. yes because it chips on to your pants or shirt and won't come off while you run and it hold 240 songs

  4. I don't think it's really worth it. If you're going to invest in a music player, I would get something you would enjoy using anywhere, not just during your workout. If you invest in a player with a screen (say, and ipod nano) you could easily find and arm band to carry it in and still have the convenience of being able to search and see what you wan't to listen to next.

Shop around. I'm sure you'll find something better and more worthwhile for only a little more.
