Should i get a job or start a small business?

Question

I'm 20 yrs old and i've taken several retail jobs and have quit all of them because they just are not ME, i've been out of a job for about 3months now and i need cash just to pay car insurance and gas, I have been searching for a month for stocking jobs but it seems noone is hiring now, It has always been my dream to be an entrepreneur and be my own boss, all i do currently is go to the gym(like sports), read up on jeeps and 4th gen. fbodys(lt1 and ls1 motors), so im into cars, i also can surf, just not at a skill level to teach, I've done online surveys but that never payed too well, i can speak chinese, but not 100percent fluently, OK SO.....if you(being the business minded person YOU are) were in my situation, what would you do, try to start a small business or get a part time job......if business, what kinda business should i do based on what i said.......whew!, ok 10 pts to best answer, i wish i could give more then that if you can really really help lol

A business venture is absolutely the right choice if you do make it.See you have no one to answer then,no one on your head.you will be a free man,your own boss,governing your schedule and life the way you want it to be.You can work things out your way.I tell you if you get the right start there would be nothing like it.I am 17 and i want it to be that way for my own self.Go ahead! If you're interested in starting a small business,have a look at the books by Loral Langemeier - The Millionaire Makers guide to creating a cash machine for life. Check out Amazon.com for the review.

If you speak Chinese, talk to people in the Chinese community and see if they need help. There will be a lot of people who don't speak english and would be glad to pay you for your help. Put up flyers etc advertising your services. You could help translating in a variety of situations, or just read out forms and letters for them.

The Chinese community would need help filling in forms like drivers licence forms, tax and medical forms. You could get paid by the hour and work from a local community centre.
