Football season is approaching and i have been getting in shape.

I run every day but by the end of my workout my knee is ALWAYS in ridiculous pain. I have never used a brace, so i don't know if they are worth the money. Any advice?

  1. I recommend using a knee brace. Given that knee injuries are common in football, it's better to have some basic protection to prevent injury.

  2. Well it depends,

Both of my brothers have had knee braces and it has help them alot

and after your work out your knee shouldnt be in a ton of pain

you should deffenitly get it looked at and maybe even consider phyisotherapy. It aslo depends on what postions your going to be playing. If your a QB you not running that much you wont need one as much as opposed to a WR or and RB who sprints alot up and down the field.

  3. yes get one

  4. do RICE and i have tendenitis(oshgood schotters disease) common in young athletes right under my knee cap where a large bump has formed after all the wear and tear and a basketball injury. but the dock never said anything about a brace try asking the doctor first, if he says yes then GO GET IT!!!
