Should i get a protection top for rugby league?

i already have a skin tight nike pro top for when im playing and training. in the north east its gets really cold so they come in really handy for now in the winter because they keep you really warm.

but i was thinking of getting a protection top worth £40 should i get one?

  1. If it's to keep your self warm a little, think it should be ok. You don't need to invest massively in it though. Want help you a lot if you just try to "tackle" if you know what I mean. After all it's not body armour.


  2. nah!maybe skinz, head gear might be a better idea.

  3. i had one for a while. they dont do that much but they do make you feel more confident

  6. Well it really depends on how you take the hits. If you're not able to handle the pain afterwords it would be a good idea, but remember there will always be pain, it only helps making some of the bumps not hurt so much. Personally it makes me feel weak because it's just as soft for the other player, i like to bump them or tackle them without them being able to try and run into me again.
