  1. Yes, God of War 1 and 2 will play on the 60GB according to here.

60GB is way better than the 40GB. 60GB has PS2 compatibility, 2 more USB ports, flash card readers, and Super Audio CD support (like that matters).

  2. yes they can.if u need to play yur ps1 and ps2 games get the 60gb but they got discontinued a year ago so good luck trying to find one

  3. if you want to play PS2 games, YES, you DO need the backwards compatibility (and yes, this includes both God of War games).  so get the 60GB.

if you don't want to play PS2 games, then get the 40GB.

  4. ps3 60gb was been discontinued a long time ago.. If you want to play ps2 games and have 4 usb ports then get the 60 in ebay or amazon or wherever you''ll find it..If you dont want, then get the 40gb..

  5. you cant buy a 60 gb any more because they dont make them anymore but if you found one buy it

  6. 60gb and you still can get them here no scam it will be 450 dollars

  7. If you have a lot of PS2 games or just have a bunch of favorite ones - get 60GB (it's not in production anymore, try your luck at www.ebay.com). It supports almost all ~100% of PS2 games. Old 80GB is still on sale in USA and Canada. This one supports PS2 games (~70%). If you don't care for PS2 games - get new "core" 80GB, which'll come out on 27.08.08. It'' ll be sold at the same price as 40GB now. It doesn't play PS2 games at all.
